Did you know... you are our greatest inspiration!
Yup! You talk and we listen. In this world of digital tech its our world of offline communications that influence, direct and help us in creating more of what you want. The problem is being based in WA means chatting at market stalls and trade events limits us to how much time we can spend with you. So what we have done is create this little questionnaire online! a bit of fun where you can tell us more about you, like if you like long walks on the beach or you have died laughing cause you cat decided to jump through a carboard box that was far too small for him/her!
The thing is this online survey is actually really important to us. We know your busy and time is totally precious so we will make it worth your while but if you could just click this lil old link and answer these quick questions we absolutely guarentee you will be taking part in something that will give you warm and fuzzies!

You will often see our current workshop dog on instagram or facebook. They will always be a greyhound with a smiling face and a wagging tail.
How did it all start?
So while our hearts were broken we took some time, we healed and in 2017 decided to open our home and hearts again this time we decided we would help more than just 1 of the 17,000 greyhounds that get put down per year by becoming a foster family. I say family instead of parents because our hooman kids are just as educated and a part of this as we are. Fostering is by no means easy you take in a shadow their personality drained and spirit broken but with time they show you unconditional love, excitement and their real goofy personality, all just because they are now free.
We are now 9 months into our Greyhound foster journey. We have fostered 3 beautiful dogs Manny, Harry and now Cam. All with their own crazy personalities and traits, we are so thankful they decided to share those traits with us.
Scroll over the pictures of each dog to know a little more about them.
How can you help?
Even if you dont have the ability to adopt a skinny love jerk AKA greyhound into your life I am going to put a list of not for profit greyhound organisations below that need you. If its a like on Facebook, dontation or you have a little time to help with admin, adoptions, market stalls every greyhound will reward you with a loving lick or a leaning hug!

With only a few days left to get your personalised orders in for this Christmas we thought it was the perfect time to go over what a monogram is and why you should have your kit personalised...
Since When? Originating back in 350BC a monogram was a motif made by overlapping or combining two or more letters or other graphemes to form one symbol. Monograms are often made by combining the initials of an individual or a company, used as recognizable symbols or logos.
In todays day and age the monogram has been simplified and instead of overlapping and creating a graphic it is simply your initals with or without punctuation.
Why use it? A monogram is a classic and personal touch traditionally used on items of importance or significance. Just like a royal seal it denotes importance and implies sophistication, as having something personalised incurs extra expense and is always worth the wait.
When? If your giving a gift and you want to show that person just how important they are to you then this is that extra step. It could be for any occasion birthday, fathers day, mothers day, congratulations for retirement or landing the dream job. Monograms are on goods carried by important people, so if you want that special someone to feel they are at the top of your list then monogrammed goods are the way to do it.
Now more than ever it's easy to add a monogram to any Hammered Leatherworks goods. You simply select-->
Yes please and type the initials and WHIZ BANG POP a custom piece will be on its way to you.

Sydney, you were awesome. Let's see if Melbourne can out do you? It'll be a big ask that's for sure.
After a whirl wind visit this coming week we're divide & conquering with Adam at Fremantle Bazaar & myself heading back east to Melbourne for the second leg of the Big Design Market. We'll both got a heap of goodies with us to make your Christmas shopping that much easier.
Be sure to come and say hi. Adam will be at stand 30 at Fremantle Bazaar and I will be at stand D20 at the Big Design Market.
Only a couple more days until I am headed over to Sydney for the Big Design Market. We'll have our full range in our brand new packaging so be sure to come and see me to pick up some memorable Christmas gifts for your friends, family or even yourself!
I'll be at stand B12 so be sure to come by and say hi! Download your site map to find me right here.
Perth & Melbourne we'll be seeing you both next week!
We're gearing up for the biggest trip we've done this year. Over a three week period we will be at 4 different events in 3 different states and traveling over 6,000 kilometres to see you all. Starting from November 23 I will be headed over to Sydney for the Big Design Market (November 24- 26), then briefly back to Perth to restock before jumping back on a plane to Victoria for the Melbourne leg of the Big Design Market (December 1 - 3). At the same time that I will be in Melbourne our WA fans can catch Adam at Fremantle Bazzar. Just to add to the madness we'll be heading BACK to Sydney for The Finders Keepers on December 8 - 10!
I'm looking forward to seeing you all in Sydney or Melbourne and if you're in WA make sure to head to Freo Bazzar to say hi to Mr Hammered!
